Beautiful quality offerings with gluten free options. The chai is so nourishing and warming. It’s on my walking route and always happy to stop. Great service, friendly and warm team. March 2025: the masala chai is delicious.

Great coffee and a really nice vibe — definitely one of the better spots in the area! The only thing missing is some bike-friendly options. Given the location, it would be great to have a small bike rack or a place where cyclists can safely park and grab a quick coffee. Right now, it’s a bit tricky if you come alone with your bike — you either have to keep an eye on it from your table or skip your coffee altogether. A bit more attention to cyclists would make this place perfect!

Steam was among the very first specialty coffee shops in Bucharest in the early days and they are ,since then, in my personal top. They kept the quality of the products and the vibe, despite all the challanges of the past years (lockdowns and restrictions, moving to better location etc). One of the best features are that they open earlier than other coffee shops (7.30 AM) and they have the same schedule on holiday days.

The coffee is great and the place is beautiful, but there is no music.

The picture was taken immediately after the cup was presented. I also wondered about the bubbles, as they were likely caused by fresh beans. However, don’t let the picture fool you, the flat white was tasty and was served at the right temperature.

The coffee is good, but nothing really extraordinary to make you want to revisit. If you plan to come and work from here with a laptop, maybe consider another place, because they have no laptop policy (except for one table in the back, that is almost always full). If you want a coffee to go, it deserves a try

Good coffee latte and okay filter coffee due to the coffee bean selections

A great place for a cozy coffee experience. I really appreciate the free water (a nice touch to stay hydrated). The staff is very friendly and they make beautiful coffee art for everyone, even if you order just a chocolate drink. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting at least once a week to enjoy and savor your free time. Highly recommended!
